The DMA measures the viscoelastic properties of a sample as a function of frequency, time, temperature, stress, strain and the environment.
The advanced design of the EXSTAR DMS 6100 DMS features a large force range up to 18 N, which allows the handling of a wide range of sample configurations and stiffness ranging from single fibres and films to thick reinforced composites. The instrument covers the unbelievable modulus range from 10³ to 10¹² Pa.

Synthetic Oscillation Mode
This measurement mode is SIINT original technology. This mode applies a complex wave form with different frequencies to the sample and provides a series of measurement results simultaneously. Synthetic Oscillation mode speeds up not only the measurement and analysis, but is also useful in measuring samples with high modulus changes as a function of temperature, using high scan rates (5 to 10°C/min.)
Fourier Transform Technology
Since the instrument uses the Fourier transform technology to reduce the signal deformation noise, it provides the best possible signal to noise resolution for the detection of very weak transitions. With increasing the data processing speed, more accurate viscoelastic data can be obtained very easily.
Thermal Expansion Correction Function
It is very difficult to detect the strain signal correctly due to the effect of the static deformations caused by thermal expansion, creep etc. The EXSTAR 7000 DMS is equipped with a highly sensitive sensor which drive sthe high accuracy step motor to correct any sample dimensions changes. It precisely controls the sample starin during any phase of a measurement. This provides highly accurate measurements with unsurpassed modulus and tan delta values.
Wide Measurement Range
EXSTAR 7000 DMS features advanced auto tension control technology to provide continuous data on different samples such as samples with a large drop in modulus and significantly stretch at temperatures above the glass transition. The sophisticated auto tension control function allows the EXSTAR DMS 6000 to measure the different type of samples ranging from very stiff to very soft very easily.
