Dynamic light scattering (DLS) is routinely used in to detect aggregates in macromolecular solutions, to determine the size of proteins, nucleic acids, and complexes or to monitor the binding of ligands. Particle size determination and Zeta Potential can be accurately determined by the Brookhaven Omni and can take into account factors that can affect the stablity of the protein such as temperature. Micelles and liposomes can be analysed in exactly the same way.
