On-line

Process Analytical Technology, or PAT, is designed to analyse and control manufacturing processes by measuring the characteristics of raw and processed materials.

PAT helps minimise waste and increase efficiency, reducing over-processing and ensuring final product quality.

For example, the pharmaceutical industry must meet strict regulatory requirements, but it also needs to increase its production line efficiency. Rather than depend on traditional methods of quality assurance after processes are complete, PAT enables manufacturers to test, measure and analyse materials and products online utilising the Quality by Design approach.

This approach to quality control allows for continual adjustment of processes to maintain product quality.

Other benefits include increased process efficiency and reduction in cycle times.

From Viavi, the PAT-W and PAT-U offer the Linear Variable Filter technology utilised in the MicroNIR range of NIR spectrometers.

The spectrometer is designed to work with online processes of powder and some liquids utilising the NIR finger print. Typical applications, but not limited to, are:
• Product Uniformity
• Product Identity
• Process Trajectory Monitoring
• Granulation
• Drying
• Feed frame monitoring
• Reaction Monitoring
• Pharmaceutical, Industrial Chemical, Polymers and Food Applications
• Qualitative and Quantitative Modelling for parameters such as Water, Fat and Protein.

SPOT4Line

INDATECH has designed SPOT4Line, the first multi-angle LED spectrometry for analyzing any industrial liquid.

VISERION on Line Raman

Viserion is Indatech’s Raman solution, tailored for the most demanding and challenging environments for process development, routine chemical analysis, and in-line production monitoring. Our objective is to provide you with a reliable Process Analytical Technology solution to achieve cost benefits, time savings and enhanced process understanding.

MicroNIR PAT and MicroNIR PAT Wireless

The MicroNIR PAT is an ultra-compact, near-infrared (NIR) wireless spectrometer covering 950 – 1650 nm for on-line process monitoring applications in the pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries. It is suitable for batch processes. The MicroNIR PAT also allows continuous manufacturing processes that use multiple NIR sensors across an entire process flow. Pharma applications includes monitoring blend uniformity, drying conditions, and API concentrations in blenders, fluid bed dryers, and tableting. The MicroNIR PAT is available as a wired or wireless device. The MicroNIR PAT WIFI: • non-destructive, non-invasive, and real-time near-infrared analysis • user-selectable WiFi or Ethernet for system control…
