Talk Abstract: Weronika Serafimowicz from Technoorg Linda

“SEM and TEM sample preparation with Technoorg Linda”
Achieving high-quality SEM and TEM imaging requires precise and reliable sample preparation. Broad ion beam (BIB) milling offers a controlled, artifact-free method for polishing and cross-sectioning a wide range of materials, ensuring optimal surface quality for analysis.

Technoorg Linda provides versatile ion milling solutions tailored to meet the demands of modern research and industry.

In this talk, Weronika Serafimowicz will discuss the advantages of ion milling for various applications, including batteries, geological materials, and FIB/TEM sample preparation, among others.

She will explore how different techniques—such as surface polishing, slope cutting, and low-energy cleaning—can optimize sample quality for imaging and analysis. Attendees will gain insight into the capabilities of Technoorg Linda’s systems and how they support researchers in achieving reliable and high-resolution results.
