Vacuum Gas Oil (VGO) is a highly viscous left-over fraction of petroluem distillation, which is further subject to catalytic refinement. Here, a VGO sample is submitted for residual analysis of Al, As, Fe, Na, K, Ni, P, Pb, Si and V. Lack of soot formations and deposits is of importance in the configuration of the system.
