Glass Vessels

Suitably engineered glassware can be used for processes that are carried out at pressures below 10 atmospheres. This limits the pressure to a maximum of 10 bar, but allows the user to clearly see what is happening on the inside of the reactor and therefore minimising possible corrosive and contamination effects from contact with metal surfaces. The vessel volumes range, available from 160ml to 1.5L, come with overhead mechanical stirring. Short Path Evaporator

Short path evaporators are the ideal choice for heat sensitive materials. Uniformed thin films and vacuum-tight connections, result in high evaporation efficiences. Materials experience short residence times in contact with the heated surface which results in minimal thermal decompositions. There are two models available which have an evaporation surface area of either 0.05m2 (DN60) or 0.1m2 (DN100). Nutsche Filters

The Asahi effective Nutsche filter design incorporates a guided mounting system. This facilitates the alignment of the glass vessel and filter unit ensuring leak-free operation.   A sintered PTFE filter maximises the effective filtration area and the advanced sealing design enables agitation during pressure filtration.  The thermal medium jacket is situated close to the filter unit for thorough temperature control of the process liquid.
