SciMed is pleased to announce a revolutionary new sample preparation system for PFAS and F analysis – the ICPrep from Analytik Jena. We will be hosting a free 75-minute online webinar on Wednesday July 30th, 2025, to introduce this instrument to the UK and Ireland markets.
The webinar will be split into two sections;
- one to introduce and explain why PFAS testing is becoming the most important topic in environmental testing and compliance, and where the legislation is heading,
- one to provide further information and details on how the ICPrep will provide benefits to any lab looking to perform this analysis.

What will I learn?
This webinar will be focussing mainly on the water and waste industries and will explore the importance of PFAS analysis as legislation is being introduced into this analytical arena.
We will present different options and configurations that need to be considered when looking to perform these types of analyses. We will go through the full sample preparation stages including column adsorption and/or solid-phase extraction for aqueous samples, the pyrohydrolytic combustion step, absorption and fraction collection.
There will be a Q&A session at the end of the session where you are able to ask specific questions of all the presenters.
