SciMed Wraps Up a Successful Week at Lab Innovations & Advanced Engineering 2025
31st October 2025
A Week of Innovation, Collaboration, and Cutting-Edge Technology
It’s been an inspiring and successful week for SciMed, as the team proudly exhibited at both Lab Innovations 2025 and Advanced Engineering 2025. These two leading UK events once again brought together industry innovators, researchers, and engineers to explore the latest advancements in laboratory instrumentation and process technologies.
Although the setup period came with its fair share of challenges, the SciMed team worked tirelessly to ensure both exhibition stands were fully operational in time for the show’s opening. Thanks to the dedication and teamwork of everyone involved, both events ran smoothly and successfully from start to finish.
Showcasing the Best in Laboratory & Process Solutions
At Lab Innovations 2025, SciMed showcased a wide range of analytical and laboratory technologies, with a particular spotlight on the Sykam Ion Chromatography system a reliable and precise analytical tool ideal for a range of laboratory applications.
Matt from SciMed was on hand to present the system, engaging with visitors and discussing how Sykam’s innovative technology continues to deliver consistent, high-quality results for scientists and technicians across the UK.
Meanwhile, at Advanced Engineering 2025, SciMed showcased its leading High Pressure and Process Chemistry range, alongside innovative technologies such as the NEWARE High Precision Battery Testing Equipment and the SNE Alpha Smart Tabletop SEM by SEC.
These demonstrations highlighted SciMed’s ability to deliver practical, high-performance solutions for chemical process development, pilot-scale operations, and advanced research applications. Visitors were particularly interested in how these systems could enhance precision, efficiency, and scalability within modern laboratories and engineering environments.
Special International Collaboration with Cordouan Technologies
This year’s Lab Innovations stand also featured a special international guest, Eliott Bensimhon from Cordouan Technologies, based in France.
Eliott joined SciMed to showcase and demonstrate the VASCO KIN Particle Size Analyzer a high-performance instrument designed for real-time nanoparticle size measurement using dynamic light scattering (DLS).
Visitors were particularly interested in the VASCO KIN’s kinetic analysis capabilities, which allow scientists to monitor particle size evolution in real time, a powerful advantage for formulation studies, stability testing, and nanoparticle research.
The collaboration between Cordouan Technologies and SciMed continues to highlight SciMed’s commitment to bringing world-leading analytical technologies to UK laboratories.
