SciMed is pleased to announce a revolutionary new High Resolution ICP-OES – the PQ 9200 Elite from Analytik Jena. We will be hosting a free 60-minute online webinar on Thursday July 24th, 2025, to introduce this instrument to the UK and Ireland markets.
The webinar will be split into two sections;
- Features – highlighting features such as the new 27 MHz RF-generator, the vertical V-shuttle torch, Dual-View Plus, the High-Resolution optical design, the Precision sample-introduction kit, and software functions such as ABC and CSI.
- Benefits and applications – how these new features, in combination with a footprint reduction of over 50% and an argon gas-flow requirement reduction of 35%, mean the new PQ 9200 Elite ICP-OES is the only choice for those tough applications such as brines, steel, oil and lubricants, etc., as well as measuring both trace and major levels in one analysis.

This webinar will be looking at how the PQ 9200 Elite has evolved from the previous ICP-OES systems by Analytik Jena, where it has improved robustness and performance, and why is the most sensitive, smallest, and most rugged OES on the market.
We will explore the benefits of high-resolution analyses and why it is the best choice as todays’ legislation is forcing instruments to be capable of better and more accurate data.

David has over 25 years’ of experience in ICP-MS and other analytical techniques, working in academia, research, and industry. He joined SciMed in October 2020 specialising in Analytik Jena instrumentation.

Matt has been involved in the analytical industry for almost 25 years, and in that time has held several roles covering applications and training, as well as sales management and development. Matt joined SciMed in 2018 and focuses extensively on growing and supporting the Analytik Jena products in the UK and N. Ireland.
