SciMed Visits Promethean Particles to Capture Customer Documentary

SciMed recently spent the day with the team at Promethean Particles, working together to film a new customer documentary that brings their work in advanced materials to life.
It was a great opportunity to get behind the scenes and see first-hand how their operation runs, from lab-based testing and material development through to large-scale production.
The footage captured on the day will form the basis of an upcoming customer testimonial video, which we’re looking forward to sharing later this month.

During the visit, our team worked closely with Promethean’s scientists and engineers to capture a range of real-world activities across their site.
This included everything from day-to-day lab work and analytical testing through to larger-scale production processes.
A big focus of the documentary is on how Promethean is developing and manufacturing Metal-Organic frameworks (MOFs) for use in decarbonisation applications and the fight against climate change. Obtaining reliable and high-quality analytical data, therefore, plays a vital role in supporting that work.
Alongside filming, we also sat down with members of the team to explore both the science behind what they do and the practical challenges they help their customers solve.
