Dr. Klaus Oldörp

Thermo Fisher Scientific

Dr. Klaus Oldörp studied chemistry in Hamburg, Germany and did his doctorate with a focus on polymer rheology.  At the Fraunhofer WKI he was responsible for the synthesis and analysis of binders for wood-based materials. He then moved to ICI Polyurethanes (later Huntsman Polyurethanes) in Belgium and, as part of the SHE team, was responsible for the safe use of isocyanate-based binders in wood-based panel production.  Since 2003, Dr. Oldörp works as a 'senior rheology application specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific and in this role heads the rheology application laboratory and is active in practical and theoretical user training.
