SciMed recently attended CHEMUK 2026 at the NEC Birmingham, joining industry professionals, suppliers, customers, and new contacts from across the UK chemical, process engineering, and laboratory sectors.
The two-day exhibition provided an excellent opportunity for the SciMed team to showcase a range of analytical and process technologies whilst engaging in valuable technical discussions around current industry challenges and future applications.

Instrumentation Highlights from CHEMUK 2026
At stand C84, SciMed showcased a focused selection of instrumentation and technologies from key suppliers including Parr Instrument Company, Thermo Scientific, Koehler Instrument Company, and Hielscher Ultrasonics.
The stand featured:
- Parr high-pressure reactor systems
- Process and pressure chemistry technologies
- Koehler petroleum and fuel testing instrumentation
- Hielscher ultrasonic processing equipment
- Supporting analytical and process instrumentation technologies
A large-format video wall running application-focused content helped create strong visibility across the exhibition hall, whilst live product discussions enabled visitors to explore real-world applications across chemical processing, fuel testing, materials development, and laboratory analysis.
The event delivered strong footfall throughout both exhibition days, with the team speaking to existing customers, suppliers, and a wide range of new contacts interested in process chemistry, analytical instrumentation, and industrial testing solutions.

Showcasing Process & Analytical Technologies
One of the major talking points on the stand was the range of high-pressure reactor technologies from Parr Instrument Company, which generated significant interest from visitors involved in chemical synthesis, scale-up, process development, and materials research.
The display also included fuel and petroleum testing instrumentation from Koehler Instrument Company, alongside ultrasonic processing technologies from Hielscher Ultrasonics, helping demonstrate SciMed’s broad capability across laboratory, testing, and industrial process applications.
SciMed’s stand design combined product displays with clean branding, integrated storage solutions, and a large video wall to maximise visibility within the compact 3m × 3m exhibition footprint.
